Wendy has over 15 years experience in dental hygiene. She has a heart for the profession and the people she serves. She has a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene Education and is a former educator for the Technical College System of Georgia.
Mrs. Blond taught advanced instrumentation classes, research, public health and modified practices for medically compromised patients. Wendy received advanced training in geriatrics and health care business from Armstrong Atlantic State University/ Georgia Southern University in obtaining her master's degree in Health Service Administration.
Mrs. Blond is a Past President of the Georgia Dental Hygienists' Association where she played a key role in changing legislation to allow dental hygienist the ability to serve outside of the traditional dental office under general supervision. She has a deep history of advocating for senior services and vulnerable populations in our community. Wendy has been peer elected year after year to represent the dental hygienist of Georgia on a state and national level. She has an endearing enthusiasm for life and compassion for caring for other through dental services.
Wendy grew up in Forsyth County and lived in Savannah, Georgia for seven years while attending college. She now resides back in her "home town" with her husband, Keith, and their two children.
